  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and milk over medium heat.
  2. Stir continuously until the mixture comes to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, stop stirring and let it boil for 4-5 minutes without stirring.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and marshmallows until melted and smooth.
  5. If using, fold in chopped nuts.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased 8×8 inch pan and let it cool completely.
  7. Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.
