Pizza-Style Cottage Cheese Bake (High-Protein Comfort Food)

A delicious and high-protein comfort food that combines the flavors of pizza with the creaminess of cottage cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Layer the cottage cheese mixture over the marinara sauce.
  5. Top with the remaining marinara sauce, bell peppers, and black olives.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add your favorite pizza toppings.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated.
  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
