  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Gruyère cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup truffle oil
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the cheddar and Gruyère cheeses to the saucepan, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Mix in the cooked macaroni and truffle oil until well combined.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  7. In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese; sprinkle over the mac and cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra truffle flavor, drizzle additional truffle oil on top before serving.
