1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup molasses
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup boiling water
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
In a separate bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the molasses and eggs to the butter mixture, mixing well.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk.
Stir in the boiling water until well combined.
Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
