- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup fontina cheese, shredded
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, provolone, parmesan, fontina, marinara sauce, and basil. Mix well.
- Add the cooked ziti to the cheese mixture and stir until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
