  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup fontina cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, provolone, parmesan, fontina, marinara sauce, and basil. Mix well.
  4. Add the cooked ziti to the cheese mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
