A delightful layered dessert that combines the flavors of Christmas cookies with a creamy filling, perfect for holiday gatherings.

  • 1 package of sugar cookie mix
  • 1/2 cup of butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 cup vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup crushed Christmas cookies for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the sugar cookie mix, melted butter, and egg until well combined.
  3. Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden. Let it cool completely.
  5. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Fold in the whipped topping and spread the mixture over the cooled cookie layer.
  7. In a separate bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until thickened.
  8. Spread the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  9. Top with crushed Christmas cookies and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a festive touch, add sprinkles on top.
  • Can be made a day in advance for convenience.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
